Low Cal Baked Chicken Breast

Low Cal Baked Chicken Breast

History: I created this recipe to help with those fried urgings that I get. It is delicious, and very filling.

Ingredients:
  • 1 lb raw chicken breast ( with or without bones)
  • 2 Tbsp dijon mustard
  • 1/2 tsp garlic salt
  • 1 tsp lemon pepper
  • 2 Tbsp unbleached flour
  • 1/4 cup panko bread crumbs
  • 3 sprays of cooking spray

Direction:
  1. Mix garlic salt, lemon pepper, flour, and panko crumbs in an zip lock bag or container with tight fitting lid.
  2. Shake up all the ingredients so they are mixed up.
  3. Spread mustard on chicken. ( I used on tablespoon per breast)
  4. Place chicken in container and roll or push chicken into the breading mixture. Make sure to coat all sides.
  5. Spray cassarole dish with cooking spray.
  6. Place chicken in dish and put in an oven that has been preheated to 375.
  7. Bake turning chicken over once after 30 minutes.
  8. Cook until chicken tender. (It will depend on how thick your chicken breast is and if it is boned or not)

Weight Watcher Points 8 points for one whole breast
