Low Cal Baked Chicken Breast
History: I created this recipe to help with those fried urgings that I get. It is delicious, and very filling.
Ingredients:
- 1 lb raw chicken breast ( with or without bones)
- 2 Tbsp dijon mustard
- 1/2 tsp garlic salt
- 1 tsp lemon pepper
- 2 Tbsp unbleached flour
- 1/4 cup panko bread crumbs
- 3 sprays of cooking spray
Direction:
- Mix garlic salt, lemon pepper, flour, and panko crumbs in an zip lock bag or container with tight fitting lid.
- Shake up all the ingredients so they are mixed up.
- Spread mustard on chicken. ( I used on tablespoon per breast)
- Place chicken in container and roll or push chicken into the breading mixture. Make sure to coat all sides.
- Spray cassarole dish with cooking spray.
- Place chicken in dish and put in an oven that has been preheated to 375.
- Bake turning chicken over once after 30 minutes.
- Cook until chicken tender. (It will depend on how thick your chicken breast is and if it is boned or not)
Weight Watcher Points 8 points for one whole breast
