Okra Patties
Ingredients:
- 2 cups sliced fresh okra
- 1 can chopped green chilie peppers
- 1 box Jiffy Corn Mix
- 1 egg slightly beaten
- 1/4 cup cheese
Directions:
- Mix the ingredients in a large bowl.
- Heat a large frying pan with a 1/4 of cup of oil.
- You can decide how big you'd like to make them depending on your use. I make them burger size and eat them like a hamburger, but you can make them smaller.
- Drop in hot oil.
- Brown one side, flip over and flatten. Brown other side, and serve warm.
