Banana Split Pancakes

BANANA SPLIT PANCAKES
History:
I love breakfast at night. Lots of times when I have large groups at my house I will have breakfast fixens. These pancakes are wonderful and very easy.

Ingredients:
2 cups Bisquick Original Baking Mix
1 ½ cups milk
¼ cup chocolate flavor syrup
1 egg
1/3 cup miniature semisweet chocolate chips
2 medium bananas sliced
2 cups sliced strawberries
Fat Free whipped topping (got to save calories somewhere)
Chopped peanuts
Additional chocolate flavor syrup
Maraschino cherries
Directions:
  • Heat griddle or skillet
  • Grease if necessary
  • Stir baking mix, milk ¼ cup chocolate syrup and the 1 egg in medium bowl until batter blended (batter will be thin).
  • Stir in chocolate chips. (This does not work for me because the chips sink to the bottom. I think it is better to sprinkle a few chips on the pancakes as they cook because it looks better. The chips also tend to stick to the hot griddle so if you place them on the pancake after the batter is a cooked a little they do better)
  • Pour batter onto hot griddle (add chips now as it cooks)
  • Flip pancake and cook other side (be careful the chocolate wants to burn)
  • Serve with bananas, strawberries, whipped topping, peanuts, chocolate syrup, and maraschino cherries.
Buon Appetito
