Orange Balls

Orange Balls
History:
This recipe was from our cousin Mary Ann. She has made it for years for Christmas, weddings, and funerals.

Ingredients:
  • 11 oz vanilla wafers finely chopped
  • 1 stick butter
  • 2 1/2 cups powder sugar
  • 6 ounces orange juice
  • 1 cup nuts finely chopped

Directions:
  1. Cream butter, sugar,and orange juice.
  2. Add vanilla wafers and nuts to the creamed butter, sugar , and orange juice.
  3. Roll into small balls and coat with coconut or nuts.
Works best if the mixture is chilled.
Yields 5 dozen
