Orange Balls
History:
This recipe was from our cousin Mary Ann. She has made it for years for Christmas, weddings, and funerals.
Ingredients:
- 11 oz vanilla wafers finely chopped
- 1 stick butter
- 2 1/2 cups powder sugar
- 6 ounces orange juice
- 1 cup nuts finely chopped
Directions:
- Cream butter, sugar,and orange juice.
- Add vanilla wafers and nuts to the creamed butter, sugar , and orange juice.
- Roll into small balls and coat with coconut or nuts.
Works best if the mixture is chilled.
Yields 5 dozen
